"I love to see the Temple"

Dear Diary,
Friday we went as a family to the temple open house, it was absolutely beautiful!its a small temple but makes you feel so happy. Inside of the Temple was magnificent! the baptismal font was breath taking with once more the 12 oxen at the bottom, right when we walked in there Zeeky went "WOOOW!" obviously he loved it too. the sealing room held the spirit so strong but the most spiritual room was the Celestial room the lights where over whelming and no even spoke! the art in the temple was gorgeous and I couldn't keep my eyes off, there was a lot more art in that temple then I have ever seen in any others. It was the best experience.

I should probably tell you about TYC by now... well TYC stands for "Temple Youth Celebration" its when all the youth get together and practice dances, songs, acting's, and so on! then we go to the place where the new temple is built (well some where around there) and do the dances and all that as a HUGE show! in this stadium place!(i think..) and the prophet will be there too!! SO EXCITING! so for the last couple months we have been getting together (all the youth) and practicing Wednesdays and Saturdays. and now Thursday we are headed off to Vancouver to do the show! ON THURSDAY!!! if you would like any more info please go to....

IKEA

Dear diary,
(This happened on Friday but it was great!)
the carter family and Pringle family I highly suggest you go. But just to explain it to you its a store of home appliances, beds, couches, plates, plants, lights, decorations, etc. anyways it is so fun to be in there! but do you know whats makes it the best experience!? hide and go seek in IKEA! if you have never played hide and go seek in IKEA then you should putt that on your "list of things before you die".so we played hide and go seek in IKEA and I wasn't found even once! really I didn't hide most of the time just followed the person that was it from a distance and every time they would turn around I would duck and hide. But either then that, I really just acted casual. the people that were playing was me,Olivia,Andrew,Shawn,Sierra,Angus, and Shae, in this HUGE store with more places to hide in then any other place! Once I hid in a shower, And another time a closet. hide and go seek in IKEA is not immature but an adventure. That day I discovered that an adventure can come anywhere! And I had fun doing it. many times I have been told to live my life to the fullest because I wont be a kid forever.

Thanks to IKEA

Adventure walk with Shae.

Dear Diary,
yesterday was fantastic. after putting in my last entry I watched the clock and once it struck 3:00 I headed off with gum boots in a back pack to a street where the lights take an hour to change.Once I got there Shae had been waiting for me!
our plan was to meet up half way after Shae's school to go on an adventure walk so thats just what we did! but the problem was, was that Shae had to go to an appointment so we first went there first... then I waited in the waiting room... and then we where off! on an adventure! first though I really wanted to show her a awesome tunnel under this huge high way... and then we where on our way! again.
for this adventure walk I was the leader. (meaning I show the way because I know where were going). I took her to the broken down barn next to a farm it was so cool! this barn is pretty old seemed to be a old horse farm. the first floor is cool but the second floor is WOW! So we headed up to the second floor up this rickety ladder that was all rotten and such and climbed to the second floor. this floor has only one or two windows but really looks like it has windows all over the place because most walls came down in different areas. The barn really reminded us of a story book! it was really fun!
After the barn I took her to the field of grass. well at least thats what it looks like, until you step into it. (at this point we had the gum boots on) the field of grass was really a lake with layers and layers of grass growing in it. so you could walk on the grass but your feet would constantly get soaked if you didn't watch where you stepped. (thats what the gum boots where for ) the grass was so tall it came up to our noses!that was a fun day! I love spending time with Shae!

Farm Chaos & a sunday afternoon

hey!
I know I haven't written in here for a LONG while, So for now on I will try harder to write in both my journal and my blog! (since both are very important!).So here I am in Victoria, Vancouver Island, BC Canada. The most beautiful place I know of! And I just got inside from chasing the pigs ,and yelling "pigs pigs!! come on!!" because turns out I went out to feed them ,and they got a little too excited... as in, breaking down the electric wire ,and jumping over the hirer wires.I ended up chasing them about trying to get them back inside there fence but the problem is, is that there scared of the wire because its electric.... but there not afraid to jump over it or under it or even trip it off?! yep that pigs for ya. there smart for a second and then they loose there smartness. Next thing I know there running in and out of the horse stalls to harass the horses, and they did a good job of it to. the chickens are happy though, while the pigs were running about the chickens got to eat the food that the pigs left behind to freak out the horses. And for a while the farm became chaos. But that's what I love about farms. there is never a day with out excitement!

yesterday(Sunday after church) the family headed off to Kara's house to have a Sunday family BBQ, FUN FUN FUN! Zeek loved it, the dogs loved it.... maybe a little too much so we putt a baby fence up so they couldn't come up the porch. and we all loved it! we even watched Hercules to! we where going to watch Mary Poppins but my dad insisted we didn't so we ended up just watching Hercules ,and singing along with squeely high pitched voices and getting most words wrong just to annoy my dad. oh how I love to annoy my dad!
Zeek couldn't keep still most of the time because you now how toddlers are! cant sit still for more then a 3 minutes. so what he did while watching the movie was move from place to place in different spots. like sit next to me, next to Malia, next to dad, on a little red chair,on the ground,in front of the TV and so on. but you gotta love him. After that day I realized how much I love to spend time with my family. Its the most fun I get to have! Just sitting out side and enjoying the Sunday air was breathtaking. I could do it over and over again.

p.s. oh ya! and I am planning on writing some more family Carter News! once I get the computer to work the way I want it to....
